Law Firm Fight For The "little" Sick With Asbestos

Mike Angelides is the managing partner of 11 years, law firm that has built its reputation to win million dollar judgments that compensates people injured or sickened by the conditions in the workplace.

His firm, Simmons & Browder Gianaris Angelides Barnerd LLC, recently moved into a large and renovated the building Alton River Bluff, which is one of the best views of the Mississippi River metropolitan area. The five-story building is in an indication of its success.

And Angelides has been at the forefront of several successful prosecutions. He oversees the company's asbestos, toxic crimes, drug injury, violation of intellectual property rights and contingent fee practice in commercial litigation.

During his 10 years as Managing Partner, law firm has grown by more than 50 lawyers in seven years and grew to accept asbestos cases over new year than any other firm in the United States.

And in 2010, the company commercial litigation department demonstrated the benefit of the contingent-fee agreements, in cases, when it negotiated a $ 32 million antitrust case settlement. The matter was submitted on behalf of Synergetics USA, Inc., a medical device company, has received a much more international competitor, Alcon Inc.

He seems to have been a significant number of mesothelioma (an asbestos related cancer) complaints in St. Louis metropolitan area and the courts of the East. The disease is a bigger problem than elsewhere?

It's really not a problem unique to the metropolitan St. Louis. St. Louis region has a higher incidence of mesothelioma, because a number of industries have used here, the asbestos products over the years and some still use them.

Our company is specialized and contributes greatly to represent victims of mesothelioma, many of whom worked in local industries.
